Our meals are sold by the portion. One portion is built to feed a single person with a hearty appetite, or two people with lighter appetites. Our portions have an average total weight of roughly 1-1.5 pounds.
To see how many portions we recommend based on how many people you need to feed, view our Portion Calculator.

No, a slow cooker is not requred to order or cook our meals. While we do recommend using a slow cooker to cook a few of our meals, all meals can be cooked on your stovetop, and many can be cooked through a variety of alternative methods:
You can view the different ways to cook each item on our menu simply by clicking on it. To cook a meal on your stovetop, fully thaw the meal, then pour it into a saucepan and cook over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes. Always be sure to check that any protein is heated to a safe temperature before consuming it.
Delivery dates vary based on destination and date/time of purchase. A vast majority of orders are delivered within two business days. To see your estimated delivery date, please view our Shipping Information page by clicking below.
If your order arrives thawed, damaged, or missing meals, please contact us immediately via email, phone, or live chat. Please take photos if at all possible before reaching out - they allow us to provide a resolution much faster.
Nutritional information can be found in two places - the Nutrition Facts & Allergens tab on every product page, and in our Nutritional Information & Allergen Chart. You can access the full chart by clicking below.
We require a minimum of three portions per order due to shipping constraints. Meals act as insulators to each other while they are in transit, and having fewer than three portions in a package greatly increases the risk of all meals thawing before they arrive at their destination, even with dry ice and insulation.
Many customers elect to reach a subtotal of $50 or more in order to receive discounted shipping on their orders, or a subtotal of of $99 or more in order to receive free shipping on their orders.
No, thawing your meals is not necessary. All of our meals can be cooked frozen or thawed (should you choose to do so). The meals will follow the same cooking instructions either way.
All of our meals will remain safe to eat up to 12 months after arrival as long as they are stored in your freezer and kept frozen the entire time. Meals that you store in your refrigerator or thaw after receiving will be safe to eat for 3-5 days after thawing.
Some meals may come with an expiration date printed on their packaging - in this case, the printed expiration takes precedence.
It is important to cook our meals in a suitably sized slow cooker to reduce the chance of burning and increase the quality of the meal. Click below to see what size slow cooker we recommend based on how many portions you will be cooking at one time.
Generally speaking, no. We only partially cook a majority of our meals so that they are as fresh for you as possible. You are not simply reheating a frozen dinner, you are cooking it through for the first time. Microwaves will not cook the meat thoroughly enough to make it safe for you and your family to eat.
That being said, we do offer a small number of dishes that are fully cooked and are safe to heat up in your microwave. You can view those meals by clicking here.
For the most part, yes. You can view all of the meals we've tested for the instant pot and pressure cooker by clicking the button below.
Unfortunately, we are not able to sell slow cookers at this time due to shipping constraints. Most big-box stores or major online retailers offer slow cookers of various sizes starting at roughly $15. If you are planning on purchasing a slow cooker to cook our meals, we recommend making sure you get one that is properly sized for the number of portions you plan to cook at one time.
No. We highly recommend avoiding high heat for a number of reasons; meals can burn far easier, meat will become tough, and many sauces will break. If you're looking for a speedier cook method, we recommend looking on our website to see if your meal can be boiled in bag or cooked in an instant pot/pressure cooker.
